Wrong address in url
-
Hello. I transferred our fitlegion website from a wordpress.com environment to a custom host environment at bluehost.com. Initially the site stopped loading but after fiddling around with the dns records I was able to get the site up & running but now it shows as http://66.147.244.83/~fitlegio/ instead of http://fitlegion.org. In the settings, the change url options are both greyed out. I tried following the steps to adding
define(‘WP_HOME’,’http://example.com’);
define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’http://example.com’);with the right url in the config.php file but then it stopped displaying all posts and pages. i removed those codes to try to revert but it still wont show any posts or pages any more, just the side menus and header. It won’t even let me log in with my credentials nor change my pw, as it redirects me back to the site where it says nothing was found. :\ So i’m stuck with my site that has the wrong url and refuses to let me log in, change pw or revert back to the old settings. Any suggestions?
