it’s not showing there at all!
what are using to upload these plugins, and where (specifically) (whats the EXACT path you see) are you uploading them to? does the default set of plugins, the ones that are included with wordpress, display?

the default set of plugins were hello dolly and askimet. they display. as well as snap and social bookmark widget. Nothing else shows up and I’ve since tried to upload the following:
google-sitemap-generator
general stats
adsense-manager
widgets
wp-polls
pb-embedflash
wordpress-navigation-list
The Widgets Menu Tab that is supposed to appear under Presentation doesn’t show up

I just download them and then using my FTP Client under godaddy I transfer them into /wp-content/plugins folder.
This is very frusturating.

why has it taken so long for a solution to this problem??? Not being able to active my plugins is really limiting my use of the blog.
Maybe because you still haven’t answered the question.
As per the other thread, maybe providing a screen cap of the /plugins subdirectiry will help.
You have unzipped the files and all that, right?
