did you try manual offset instead of per city ?
Yes, I have tried the manual offset within WordPress Settings General tab. Has same results.
I have the exact same issue, running WordPress 4.1 with Event Manager Pro 2.3.9.
WordPress Settings show the correct Local time (13:45) and UTC time (18:45), yet when I edit an event and enter the event time as 7:30pm to 9:30pm, it saves it as 2:30pm to 4:30pm, yet when I view the entry in the calendar, it displays it as 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
The offset only shows while in the EDIT window.
If I save the original entry and then make changes, the second time around retains the “altered” times instead those I had originally entered.
@correiar This sounds like a theme issue. If you test using the default WordPress theme do you get the same result?
@brownthigpen Which version of Events Manager do you have?
What would the theme have to do with altering the event times?
You already have confirmation from @correiar with the EXACT SAME PROBLEM!
This is not a theme related issue… I am in the Admin panel in WordPress when the problem manifests itself. The theme is NOT in effect at this point.
Any update on this issue? Please advise… Thx

Hi ! I had a similar issue…
the original poster hasn’t checked in if either it was a plugin conflict etc etc.
For me.. it is a conflict issue with another plugin, a calendar. Unfortunately it’s non supported calendar, less we could sort it out.
But… in this post I have a fix. It does work, but if you update this plugin you will need to go back and re-enter the fix.
In my fix on the link.. it is offset for 5 hours.. yours seems to be 4 hours so make the adjustment… my offset in seconds is 18000.. yours would be 14400…

The only other Calendar related plugin we use is WP Full Calendar which claims compatibility with Events Manager, although it has not been updated since August 2013, so I am not sure if that claim is valid.
I deactivated it, and still the same issue persists…

As best I can tell, this is NOT a plugin conflict issue.
No other event/calendar related plugins within our site.
The problem seems to be directly related to GMT offset.
