    Hello!
    The following are a few problems we have been having with our website. If anyone could provide any advice or knowledge of these topics, it would be greatly appreciated!

    Infinite Scroll

    We like the concept of the infinite scroll, but the plugin we have is not working properly. Our clients are confused by the long loading time and therefore we lose business. We are posting in this forum to get some advise for this problem.

    When the user selects a category (i.e., Dining Tables) the first page generally loads quickly, the second page regularly loads very slowly. The remaining pages can load quicker or take a while; the result is variable.

    If the user has been on our site recently, then the pages can sometimes load quicker because they are in their computer’s memory (I think).

    While the second and subsequent pages are loading a cog/wheel should come up to let the user know the next page is loading. The problem is that the cog/wheel often will take 8 seconds to show up. So, the user does not know a page is loading and will be visible soon.

    As a result, our web site is extremely confusing for our clients to use and in many instances the client does not see much of our production line. The situation reflects poorly on our firm and is costing us significant business.

    Pages Function

    The problem is that we could only see the first page of each category. When you clicked on Page 2 and/or subsequent pages nothing would happen.


    Custom Search Box

    When a product number is entered into the Search Box, it remains there even after the page is refreshed. How can we have a clean search box after refresh?

    The Search Box presents “Keyword or Property ID”. These terms do not fit our industry. How do we change them within WordPress? This is a widget.

    the plugin we have is not working properly.

    You need to post in the sub-forum for that plugin. Which one is it?

    Same for your other questions – if they are a plugin, the developer (or other users familiar with it) will see your request on the specific sub-forum – you can get there via the plugins page here – find the one you need and then click on the green Support button and scroll to the bottom of that sub-forum to make a new post there.

    If the problems are related to part of your theme, same as the above – themes also have sub-forums.
