    Hi there,

I’m working on a page and would like to hide the messages “recently updated !” that is shown behind the title of a post. Also this message is shown in a list of posts as well.

In the options of cusomizer I can only find a way to change a color of these notifications.

Is there any way to fully hide/deactivate these messages?

    Looking forward to your help.

  • go to:
Appearance -> Customize -> Content: home, posts -> Post metas (category, tags, custom taxonomies) | SELECT THE METAS TO DISPLAY
check “Display the update date” then it other options will appear, one of them is “Display a recent update notice”, can you see it?
    Uncheck it.
Then you can uncheck also “Display the update date”, if you want.
    Hope this helps.

    Yes, awesome. This worked 🙂

However I think there is a small bug/glitch in the theme regarding this.

    – The checkbox “show post details” was deactivated
    – I needed to activate the “show post details” checkbox
    – then I could select the correct settings like “deactivate showing update-date” etc.
    – this lead to the intended result of NOT showing the details.

My understanding was that with NOT having the first checkbox activated i would NOT see the details.
To fully configure if details should be shown, I first needed to say “yes, I want to show details” and then can customize that I do not want to show any details. That makes the first checkbox more or less useless 🙂
I find that a bit misleading.

But thanks to your help it worked out fine 🙂

    resq1, you’re right.
Is something that should be improved 😉

    Hi,
This recipe don’t work for me ;-(

… and the notification is in english not like I specified it : “Mise à jour récente”

Also, all my menu items have the notice “Recently updated” (in the Yoono Browser)

    I also specified “0” for the “n day”…

    … it seem something wrong
