numbered post slugs dont work

    got a series of post that have post slugs that are numbered.
    with my permalinks the address to these post are respectively:

    site.com/category/001.. 002… 003… etc

    they dont work.
    accessing these posts just brings me to their respective category page.

    whats up? anyone else notice that having a numbered post doesn’t work with permalinks:

    %category%/%post_name%
