I have the following js error on my page whenever I have a download present on it using this plugin:

Safari: ReferenceError: Can’t find variable: frmOnSubmit
Chrome: Uncaught ReferenceError: frmOnSubmit is not defined
Firefox: ReferenceError: frmOnSubmit is not defined

This in turn stops a js pop-up from functioning correctly that does work on every other page on the site.

    Any idea what’s going on?

Looks like the ‘frmOnSubmit’ is actually a Formidable forms error relating to the form in the pop-up that is not working.

Do you know why this is only happening on pages where there is a Simple Download Monitor download present?

This problem turned out to be completely unrelated to this Plugin – apologies.
