Retina is bigger… and needs also a faster Internet. You can try to optimize your images. I live in Japan, here it is definitely not a problem to load big image, and I don’t really see how a logo could take a long time though.

i use a lot of images on my site, it looks like the retina images are loaded at last. You can check my site over here: http://willhuntgoods.com

Your website loads fast, no problem. The logo on the right though is not managed by the retina plugin at all, it is just the original file there, and it is huge. No surprise it is slow 😉

haha thanks, changed the image on the left it was way to big. So it´s normal that the images first appear in normal quality and then the retina images are loaded?

I also have another problem, i can´t use the retina images in the sliders, only normal images are displayed in the slider. Is there a solution, i´ve tried a few method but nothing worked.

    Thank you!

That’s because your are using the Retina.js method.

Unfortunately, many sliders doesn’t play well with Retina in general. The developers just don’t care about Retina yet. Nothing you can do except exploring by yourself the different Retina methods in the plugin and use a few tricks. Ask a friend who knows well about WordPress, that will help.
