Letter A appears through out my posts!!!

    what’s up guys-

    I’ve had this problem before, but the method I used to fix it did not work this time.

    PROBLEM:

    The letter A with the carrot on top appears in certain white spaces in my posts. Sometimes they appear sometimes they don’t.

    I phpadmin-
    checked wp_posts-
    click SQL-

    typed – UPDATE wp_posts SET post_content=REPLACE(post_content,’A’,”); in the box

    click go

    It accepts the query, but I dont know how to copy and paste it, and I dont know how to delete the cache!

    I have seen similar error in the blogs of oldtimers who think they should type as on paper: e.g. hitting the space twice after period. Are you doing it by any chance?

    To tell you the truth, Im not really sure-
    How can I go back to the posts and find out If I’m doing this?

    yes-

    But what I’m saying is when I go back to edit them and see if I’ve hit the space twice, It does’nt look like have.

    I just went to my control panel and started another page. I gave it the title “About” and that’s all.

    When I view the page, the A with the carrot on top appears, and I didn’t even type anything, except the title about.

    What is making this letter appear?????

    Hey guys-

    I solved this problem again. It seems when the wp-cache is enabled it throws the “A” character all over my posts.

    Disable the wp-cache and the “A” is no more.

    PROBLEM RESOLVED!

    Will not having cache pages negatively effect my blog anyway?

    Also will there be a patch that can solve this problem for the cache situation??

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    This is an example of age bigotry and passive aggression –and it displays like a red flag a type of person suffering from churlishness. Do we want this sort of anti-rational thinking in an objective problem-solving scenario, such as we might expect to find here, and with participants from age 10 [wink-wink, nudge nudge] to age 141 (oldtimers == one of the other ‘N words’): moderator? Anything on this?

    The careful and thoughtful enough re. detailed thinking airBrusher was not looking for temerity, rather he or she was looking for cooperation and information — even if it came from the self-appointed techno-specialist “seriously caged gamester”.

    Let’s do away with the sub rosa politics, people. You want hate — stop using language, then; it is too lethal, if deployed by a naive person not emotionally equipped and sans proper time amalgamative use (TAU).
