problem with Vader and Sidebar Widgets

I’m not able to get sidebar plugins to work for me. I upgraded today to 2.1.3 from 2.0 something and reinstalled the Sidebar plugin and still no tab for Sidebar Widgets shows up on my Presentation menu.

This has been a problem for several months now and I’m very lost and a little frustrated and hoping there is a solution that doesn’t involve much coding.

I am using K2 Beta Two with the Vader theme.
