define('WP TEMP DIR' ….. /wp-content/uploads NOT being Changed

Is there a reason why this line isn’t changed in the wp-config when the wp-content folder is updated.

define('WP_TEMP_DIR',dirname(__FILE__).'/wp-content/uploads');

Settings >> Media >> “Store uploads in this folder” isn’t updated either.
