Footnotes

    I am using the plugin ‘Footnotes’ https://wordpress.org/plugins/footnotes/.

    When I display footnotes at the bottom of my page it moves my side navigation bar down below it. (I.e. instead of being on the right of my text, my navigation bar is below the footnotes to the right).

    For the moment I have put the footnotes to display in the footer – which leaves the nav bar in the right place. But I would prefer the footnotes be on the page.

    How do I do this and make sure my side navigation bar remains in the right place?
