• Hello,

I have problem with translation, file with translation are in 3 different folders :

    wp-content/languages/woocommerce
    wp-content/languages/plugins
    wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages

I think that it should be only in one folder. Which one?

    Second questions.

When I use CodeStyling or Poedit, translate words or phrase, generate file .mo and than nothing happens. There is no effect at all, translations does not show on page.

    Where could be a problem?

    Thank You

  • Hello,

I think the third option is the one if you want to localized woocommerce language.

Also, I suggest you read this: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-localization/

    Hope it helps 🙂

I have read this doc. Unfortunately there is no solutions for my problem.
I still have a problem with the translation.

When I use CodeStyling or Poedit, translate words or phrase, generate file .mo and than nothing happens. There is no effect at all, translations does not show on page.

When I erase a translation from server, it`s back to English, but also direct links back to English version.

I left translations in this folder wp-content/languages/woocommerce but still part of translations which is in file does not appear on the page.

    Any ideas?

    Best regards

    Michał

    Hello wegier,

Can you link your website’s url then enable the localization? So I can see if the error also happens to me.

    from the docs

If you keep your custom translations in woocommerce/i18n/languages (WooCommerce < 2.2+) they can be lost when upgrading. To make them upgrade safe, instead place them in wp-content/languages/woocommerce/. All translations will be automatically added to wp-content/languages/woocommerce/ with WooCommerce 2.2+.

Note, once moved you cannot use Codestyling to edit your moved localizations – you need to move them back to make changes.
