Changing Post Background Color

    Try setting the container background to match the sidebar:

    .container { background-color: #f8f8f8; }

    Do you happen to know how I can change the background of my nav bar to match the post/sidebar color?

    You should be able to do that using the same CSS as above, but by replacing .container with .nav. But it looks like something is awry in the header/menu HTML. I recommend contacting the theme developer for assistance.
