What theme are you using? If you edit your theme’s stylesheet directly, you’ll lose those changes if the theme is updated to fix security issues or bugs or to add new features. If your theme has a built-in custom CSS option, you should use it or a custom CSS plugin to make those kinds of changes.

You said that you recently “changed all the colors”. Did you use custom CSS to do that? If so, you should get a custom CSS plugin and simply use the same CSS rules you used before.

You should use a custom CSS plugin to hold your changes and they won’t be overwritten if the theme is updated in the future. Can you post a link to your site?
