1) To deactivate the plugin manually, FTP to your host and rename this plugin’s folder.
2) In addition to the above, FTP the .htaccess file to your computer and edit it and remove all code between and including the tags:
# BEGIN All In One WP Security
# END All In One WP Security
Doing the above should get you back into your site.
…I forgot to add one more:
3) Log into phpMyAdmin and go to the wordpress “options” table. Look for the row which has the option_name value of aio_wp_security_configs and delete that row.
Doing the above 3 steps will wipe the slate clean and allow you to re-configure the AIOWPS plugin from scratch.
Hi.. went into godaddy and did step 1, looked in godaddy and only saw .htaccess logs so checked the wordpress install and the ‘Editor’ has disappeared from there! Any Ideas? Is there somebody I can pay to sort this? Really losing my Christmas spirit!! lol

Yeah I Did step one no probs and then thought I did step 2 and 3 now its says warning security admin menu php (include once)failed to open in stream
It go’s on to say parts are missing 🙁

Think I may have deleted the wrong file? really confused?? can you PM me so I can send you a screenshot of what I have displayed here.. Probs easier than trying to explain as I can’t copy and paste it.. Kinda short of doing a restore? What do I? To TBH mate if you can install it and fix the probs I will gladly Bitcoin or PP you the money, just managed to get my theme working after 2 years so this is a bit beyond me..sorry
