Hello,
I’m sorry for the issue, but nothing similar has been happening so far. Do the shifts disappear completely from the database, or their status was changed to Pending?
About 600-700 shifts from one week (of about 750 shifts) were deleting about twice a day. After removing all other plugins it hasn’t happened since. I have determined it is probably not an issue with this script but interference from another plugin. I will have to narrow it down to determine. Thank you for your reply. I will mark this as resolved.
Yeah…spoke too soon. Today I lose 300-400 shifts in a matter of minutes. I am messaging you a Database login for assistance.
So, the developer basically said “I don’t know what’s wrong” with his own software and “…that’s weird” to me missing hundreds of rows of shifts in my database. All of this as I begged for help and even offered multiple times to pay him extra for his time to look into it. Last night I lost over 800 rows of data (shifts just gone). I don’t have a weird setup, no plugin interference, etc. I’ll put this further in my review of the product soon.
Basically, this can be set to “resolved” as the developer is resolved in not helping so no further action can be taken if he refuses to help. It’s been over a week and all I got was a refund offer and no support!
FOUND THE BUG! Sent you the steps to replicate it, and screenshots, etc.
When you go into a shift (by clicking the shift and then clicking “edit”). There’s a delete button. Click that and it will give you the option to delete more than one shift (you can delete multiple, even all of them, even if they are NOT part of a series). Just to test I chose to ONLY DELETE ONE shift…and then it deleted 121 and said “121 shifts deleted: OK”. Not sure why it would delete 121 when I chose “this day only”, or why there is even an option to delete all of them all at once. Any employee with scheduler access could really screw you over by deleting everything.
Please let me know when an update can be done, and if there is a temporary fix for now. I have 65 managers and any one of them could delete everyone’s shifts all at once right now.
Thanks.
I hired a developer to fix for me, but it look like the developer has fixed this in the new version (untested on my part). Marking as resolved.
