Blog only showing summary | WordPress.org

Hello,
For my static page for my blogs I am only getting the summary.
When clicking onto settings-reading- ‘show full text’ nothing happens, it is still only showing a summary with a ‘read more’ tab

the ‘settings – reading’ only refer to RSS feeds, not the actual site.

if the summary or the full post is shown, depends on the coding of the theme.

review the_excerpt() vs the_content()

this means that you might need to edit your theme (ideally via a child theme) to show full posts.
