HTML Div Leaves Empty Space

    okay so ive decided to have a logo on my site at the top of my homepage i used the following html code…….

    <div><img style=”position: absolute; top: 60px; left: 290px;” src=”https://m1.behance.net/rendition/modules/30879349/disp/f133a90a46d9d3533bf8bbd10c8bc9a2.jpg&#8221; alt=”Faline 2″ width=”250″ height=”180″ border=”0″ /></div>

    And it was perfect except one fault, when it’s viewed on mobile devices its out of place but viewed on a desktop or tablet its ok. I tried relative instead of absolute which worked and showed exact position when viewd from all devices including mobile but the problem with that is it leaves a blank space below and i dnt seem to can get rid of. Can anyone offer some insights or a little help?
