Lost and Found site

    Hello,

    Do you think it would be possible to use this plugin as part of a Lost and Found website.

    So, each user account will have the ability to either upload an ad of either a Lost item or an item they have Found.

    People uploading an item they have found can do so for free but if they are uploading a Lost item, they will pay a small fee.

    From what I can tell, the plugin is only really posting ads to 1 listing area, I would effectively need two listing areas (i.e., Lost and Found) with one being chargeable and one being free.

    I was thinking of setting up my own custom post types (Lost being one and Found being another) with custom taxonomies (being the different categories of items) and the linking the listings to those.

    I hope you can help or give me some ideas to test.

    Hi Damien,

    Yes, I think you can do this by setting things up as follows:
    – Create two parent categories (Lost and Found)
    – Purchase the Fee Per Category Module
    – Setup Lost to use a fee plan of 0.00
    – Setup Found to use a fee plan of whatever you want (or vice versa, doesn’t matter)

    Then users submitting to the paid category will be charged, the other will be free. I believe that will get you what you want.
