create close source project by wordpress?

    Hi,is possible to create a project (or plugin) by wordpress that be “closed source”.please guide me,Thank you so much.

    define what you mean by closed source.

    Pretty much, no.

    WordPress is licensed with the GPL license, which means that anything that you create that uses the WordPress system must also be licensed under GPL. That means that the source code is available for anyone that wants it and it can be modified and copied as needed. if you need something to be closed-source, then WordPress is not the right base to start with.
