Post summaries

Can anyone tell me a plug-in that can make all of my posts shown in a category as a summary? I don’t know code so I need either a plug-in or simple configuration steps.

For example, under the Recipes section in the menu bar, it shows all of my posts in a feed of recipes. But I want it to show only summaries of these posts and then people can click on them to read the full post.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
