Vertical Thumbnail Slider with Video post ?

Hi! You can see in the bottom of this page, what things you can get out from a post with our slider: http://www.nextendweb.com/wiki/smart-slider-documentation/posts-generator/
and you could show the latest posts in your slider with a vertical thumbnail.

But we have a custom post generator too, so if your posts are custom posts, and you put your video into one of the fields, then you could put that video into your slider too.

How are you putting the videos into your posts? With this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-video-posts/ ?
Or is it the video format, what you can choose in the right at your posts? Because that is just something, that can be used by themes to customize the post more, but actually it’s still just the simple post. Please write to me into this email address instead: support@nextendweb.com

WordPress doesn’t have a video option, you can see here, how a post editor looks like defaultly:

and the Format:Video is the only video related part, but it’s a different thing: http://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Formats
so I think, your theme is putting that in your backend, and we don’t support extra variables given by themes.

And yes, this option is only available in the pro version.

The text, what is the “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..” etc. will be get out from the posts, as they are, as a html code, and you can put that into the slider as it is. If your video is there for example with a html tag:

If you switch to see the html code, it is like this: http://www.nextendweb.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/video.png

In the frontend:
http://www.nextendweb.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/post.png

Then the Smart Slider is getting out the html code with everything, the text and the video, and it puts it into one variable:

And you can put that variable into the slider:
http://www.nextendweb.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/slider.png

But you won’t have control over the texts and the video, they will be formatted the same way, as they are in the post, under each other, just like in the post.
