Custom user field checkboxes not clickable

    I created additional user profile fields, one of which is a checkbox selection.

    The checkbox choices successfully show up on the user profile page (and the registration page), but the user cannot change any values (clicking on a checkbox doesn’t make it checked/unchecked).

    Here’s what I already tried to solve this (without success):

    -create a new checkbox field with a new meta field. It also cannot be edited
    -edit the custom field: set “User can edit” to ‘no’, then back to ‘yes’
    -delete the meta field value of the checkbox field in phpMyAdmin
    -switch theme to default 2012 theme

    Any idea what is going on here and how to fix it?

    Also, I just found two additional bugs

    • I disabled all social login options since I couldn’t get them to work, but my registration page still shows the Google, Facebook and Yahoo signup buttons
    • I found a typo in the UU Settings tab, section ‘User Profiles Settings’. The dropdown reads: “Only for regitered/logged in users”. The word ‘registered’ is missing the character ‘s’…

    hmm, I’m running Version 1.3.90 – and the plugins page doesn’t show me any available updates…

    Turns out the social registration buttons were somehow loaded from my browser cache. Used a different browser and they are gone… My bad.

    But the problem with the non-clickable checkboxes persists, regardless of whether I use Chrome or Opera (on Win 8.1)

    as for the typo. yeah, you’re right, it looks like that updated file wasn’t updated to the WP repository.

    Could you please switch to Twenty Thirteen and let me know if the checkbox issue is resolved.

    I’m just trying to see if it’s a theme issue.

    Please update to 1.3.91 and let me know if the issue has been resolved.

    Hi,

    I wasn’t able to check 1.3.91, since when I logged-into my site, the plugin was already updated to 1.3.92 😉

    But I’m happy to report that the checkboxes now work again (without even switching the theme).
