    I uninstalled WP3 total cache on my mac and now my site is down. I have no idea how to access my site again. I read several articles about how to remove this plugin manually but I can’t seem to do. For example, I have no idea how to find the htaccess file. And now im afraid I deleted too much files…..

    The error that i get is:

  • You need to access your site via ftp, go to /var/www and there will be your htaccess file. You need to replace with basic htaccess settings, making w3 total cache settings redundant and your site will come alive again. Use basic (single site) or multisite settings:
