Problems with publishing

    I am using the Theme SmartOne.

    After installing the latest WordPress Update 4.0.1 I have difficulties publishing posts. If I press the button “Publish” nothing happens. Are there any other settings I should adjust after having installed the latest WordPress Update?

    Please have a look at this screenshot.

    Could you kindly help me? Thank you!

    If you click other buttons, they work without issue?
    Is it just the publish post button?

    Do you have plugins that do something when you hit publish, for example, notify other sites etc?

    Are all your plugins up to date?

    Sorry for the barrage of questions, just trying to work out what might be causing any interference.

    Thanks for the questions.

    It is only the publish post button that does not work. Yes, the plugins are all up to date.

    Do you have further ideas?
