Update screen to plugins not refreshing / showing

    When I update my plugins the update screen is no longer showing progress plugin by plugin.
    It seems to hang but after a while when I refresh I find everything installed okay.
    Must be some setting in config? or on my server?
    I manage my own lamp servers and have been doing this for years …. can’t seem to find what’s caused this anomaly.
