Problem with charset and database results

Hi.

I’m using Abase to display database results, but it won’t display certain characters or any text that follows those characters. An example is the accent grave, which is an angled apostrophe, rather than straight up and down. I have no problem displaying the results on other websites, which use the iso-8859-1 charset.

It seems my WP website uses the UTF-8 charset, so I suppose one solution is to change it to iso-8859-1, but I don’t know how to do that.

I would appreciate any suggestions about how I can get the database results to display correctly.
