Admin Redirect Problem

    Hi All

    After automatic update to 4.0 I’m experiencing the admin redirect issue.

    Normal users can login, website functions perfectly, new posts work etc.
    But cannot login as admin, because it keeps re-directing back to login.
    Here’s what I’ve tried

    1) Cleared History / Cache
    2) Reset Admin Password
    3) Disabled All Plugins
    4) Disabled Theme and defaulted to TwentyTen
    5) Verified my url and site settings are correct
    6) Tried logging into site with www. prefix and without

    Any suggestions would be most welcome!

    Perhaps this is a long shot, but have you tried another browser? Also try website.com/login rather than website.com/wp-admin to see if that might do the trick. I’ve experienced a similar issue in the past. Also if you’re using a browser like Chrome, you might want to try Incognito mode as well. Hope one of these might help.
