Have you tried deactivating your plugins one by one to explore whether any could be conflicting?

Yes Andrew and thanks for getting back to me btw. I have gone through all that. None of this worked. Is there a jquery library added through Customizr, or any changes in that department in the last couple of updates to it? I love the theme and don’t want to change, however, the videos work when I test other themes…I’m sure it’s a theme related issue and a recent one.

Are you absolutely sure it’s not related to your FlowPlayer plugin?

Well, that’s a good point, it may be. However, if I try it with other themes it goes back to working again. The site was absolutely fine up until I noticed the problem 3 days ago (that’s not to say that there was not a problem before that.
Is it possible to easily roll back a Customizr theme to a previous version?

can I simply upload an older version and not do any major mess ups to files that have been previously updated?

Each version contains all of the theme’s files. Updating/ degrading a theme will affect every theme file.

So are you saying that it is risky for me to update the current version with a previous version?

I have no idea. You can run through the changelog if you want: http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/customizr/3.2.5/readme.txt
The section to look for is titled with the following:
####################### Changelog ######################
You can go back, but without understanding the root cause you’ll never be able to make any further Czr updates.

Thanks for your help Andrew. Hi rdellconsulting, yes I know which is so infuriating…this came out of the blue. It seems like there is a jQuery clash going on…tearing my hair out on this.

Okay guys, for anyone interested…
The site works fine again and works with version 3.2.3
There seems to be some conflict going on in versions .4 and .5 with regards WP Lightbox Ultimate and Flowplayer. What that is, who knows. What I do know is that I’ll keep checking the updates to see if they work, until then 3.2.3 works a treat.
