WP Listings – Search not working

    Hello.
    your plugin is really simple and great but the property search widget doesn’t work for new registered taxonomies.

    I select the new taxonomy boxes for the widget and it will show the dropdowns on the sidebar but the search only works for default taxomonies.

    I tried different themes and disabled plugins but still the same.

    Could you help me please?

    Taxonomy terms need listing posts assigned to them in order to show up in the search widget.

    Yes, I know that. taxonomy terms are assigned to them and they are showing in the search widget.

    It’s the search that doesn’t work.

    What exactly does not work? Any error? Try resetting your permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks and pressing Save.

    Yep, I’v done that.

    I also switched to the default theme and disabled all the plugins.
    When I select a custom taxonomy and search, it just shows all the properties.

    It’s taking forever to get a response from you.

    Have you tested the search widget and see the problem? does it happen on your end?

    We’re not able to replicate this issue. Try reverting to a previous version of the plugin, either 1.1.1 or 1.1.2, as there was a change made with rewrite rules for custom taxonomies in the latest version.     I just reverted to 1.0.7
    No change,

    Only the default taxonomies work and when it works, the sidebar disappears.
    I am also testing it on another development site and everything’s the same. Could you take a look at the link below please?

    Did you get a chance to look at it?
    I have tried disabling all my plugins but it still doesn’t work.
    I wish you could answer sooner.
    Please help me with this.

    I have the same issue – search for new taxonomy does not work: the whole properties list is shown instead.
    How this issue was resolved? Please advice

    Hi,

    I just noticed that theres a bug when you Create a Tax ID with upper case letters. For the search to work when using custom Tax, the ID must be all lower case.

    Ex.

    ID: price <— Should be all lower case
    Singular Name: Price
    Plural Name: Price
