    I use twitter card on my site and pages, is it possible to truncate the description twitter picks up for the events. Currently it picks the whole text and cuts it something like The choir will be r
    My pages are fine i can manually set them to have unique descriptions, but not sure how i can with events.
    Would need to be able to truncate the <meta property=”og:description” , <meta name=”twitter:description” and <meta itemprop=”description”

    Using %%excerpt%% in the events meta description through Yoast WP SEO

    Anyway of having a meta description that can be added at time of making a new event, another box for meta description so i can avoid using the %%excerpt%% without having to publish the event, then going into the event and adding after it is published via EVENTS-(EVENT PAGE”) then add in the yoast seo Meta Description

    Events Manager doesn’t add those meta tags, so you’d need to look at the documentation for the theme or plugin that’s adding them.
