increase security with login http

Hi all!
to increase the security of the website, as well as secutiry iThemes, to access the wordpress backend I would like to further protect the direcotory wp-admin, create a login before the wp-login, through the creation of two files .htaccess and .htpasswd and stored in wp-admin folder. This additional security can cause problems with iThemes security?
