    I cannot get my Contact Us button to look like the other two at the top of the home page. I also want to get rid of the word “HOME”. Very new to WordPress and would appreciate the assistance.

    I don’t see contact us button or link to the page
    I don’t see the word home showing on the page.

    Thanks for the quick response. I managed to delete the word home. I tried adding a new page entitled “contact information” and deleted the Contact Us page. It did not work. You can barely see the words to the right of the “wyatt capital” button at the top right of the page. Maybe if I knew what to call it, I might be able to find the solution. My apologies for my lack of knowledge.

    there is likely a specific class applied to the existing menu items to create the shiny grey background.

    1-how comfortable do you feel with making changes to the CSS of website
    do you have a child theme set up

    2-you might be able to make the changes in the MENU are of APPEARANCES if a CUSTOM MENU is in use
