Sidebar Subpage Removal?

    My sidebar is showing all my sub-pages even though I have this tag on my sidebar:

    wp_list_pages(‘sort_column=menu_order&title_li=&depth=-1’); ?>

    I was told to add the depth=-1 and it should work. It did when I was on my old webhost and an older version of WP, but now on 2.1.3 it doesnt seem to be working…Any ideas? Please?
