New Theme has Prob, Pls Help.

    I bought a theme that is having a problem in the sidebar. When I called the seller, they said it wasn’t compatible to the current WP. However it looks like a simple thing if only I knew what to do. On the sidebar, most of the stuff is working there except one area has an error. Please advise.

    Also, how can I make the background image forced to top instead of bottom, and how can I make it so that only forst post or 2 stays on front page? I have looked all through the controls and can’t find the control of how many posts on first page? I guess I’ll state the obvious, newbie to WP, longtime webmaster and phpBB admin.

    Could you tell us what the error is? Provide a link?

    Admin->Options->Reading — you’re looking for ‘Show at most’ with the number of posts to show. The theme might also limit how many posts ‘show’ on the front page.

    “The sidebar shows an error” Please list the error.

    “Is there a way to show how to get only the first 2 posts on the front page?”
    Go to Dashboard> Options> Reading> Edit the “Show at most” field to 2

    I’m not aware on how to force the image. It may not be possible.
