Menu issues with iPad

I’ve come across another issue with the menu bar. On the iPad, the menu links where submenus are present do not function. The drop down appears, the item highlights, but the link does not “activate” and the new page does not load. This is true for both the “parent” item on the menu and for the sub menu items that appear when the parent is clicked. Everything “looks” right, but it doesn’t function. Please work with this and get it to work. I really want to use your theme for this website I’m working on for a client because it has really great features, but I need this menu to work.
