Thank you mbrsolution for your support yesterday. It was very helpful.

I finally managed to structure my subcription which you can see here:

There are still some little styling problems where I need help:

First of all: how can i increase the width of the input fields?

I have put the width of input fields to 450px. But something is overwriting this because because the input fields are much smaller.

Who could help me here please?
    Thank you

  • Hi karsten007 you can change the width of each field in the Styles tab. You can also if you so choose to change the width individually in each field that you create.

Just bare in mind that if you don’t increase the over all form then it is not going to be a good idea to try and increase each individual field. For example you need to first increase the Form DIV. This div controls the whole form then increase all individual fields that you wish too.

    Dear Mbrsolution,

You said it’s possible to change the width of each individual field in the Styles tab. I only see ‘Input text fields:’ which is just a general one. How do I change them individually?

Hi @reinierzw please read the following URL. Each field that you add has an entry to add some custom code.

Let me know if you understand.

    Hi Mbrsolution,

    thank you for your support.

I finally managed to find the trick.

    I have chosen
Reset the alignment styles to labels on left
and that is the reason why I can not control the input text fields through the general styles settings.

    If I choose
Reset the alignment styles to labels on left
I can control the input text field only through the individual fields CSS inputs.

Please let me know if there should exist another possibilty of how to control the input text fields in general and not only individually.

    Thank you

    Regards,

    Karsten

Hi @karsten please read the following URL. This URL talks about color but in the same location you can add any custom CSS style.

Let me know if this helps you.

Thank you, but I already know this as you as wrote above.

Here you can see how the subcription form looks now:

    http://goo.gl/oZaV3T

I am now using labels on top of fields because that is recommended. This way I can control the width of the fields trough general settings.

I am still not perfectly happy but it was ok, I learned a lot about foms and how to control styling through CSS.

I think I will also remove the two tables I am using here and going back to the method with CSS styling.

Anyway, thank you very much for your help, Mr. Mbrsolution!!!
