Completely Blank

    I’m very new to this but I thought I’d give wordpress a go – until now I’ve use various packages to create my website which do seem much easier to use.

    Anyway, I tried to insert some code, following instructions from this forum (all I wanted to do was to make a youtube link smaller which in other packages would just involve using handles to reduced the size). Having done that the my whole site went completely blank. There’s nothing there – no menus, no nothing. So I tried to re-install wordpress – nope – nothing. I’m about 20 minutes away from just giving up and using another package but I thought I might as well ask! My site is http://www.tonybiggin.com/word (not tonybiggin.com which is my existing site built elsewhere).

    Are you able to look at your error logs? That can gice you a better idea as to what may be wrong.

    Better question might be how are you editing folders|files?

    Hi Jose. No – I didn’t know there was an error log. But I can’t see anything at all.

    From my Host’s site -it’s one of a suite of packages there

    Aha – got it back again! I found the folder on my database on my host’s site and managed to find the code which I’d input. I deleted it and all is well. Shan’t be changing code again in a hurry!
