-5 points for spam hook
-
So, I saw another thread about this problem a year ago where it was marked topic resolved and closed, so I could not add a comment.
Unfortunately, this issue has not yet been resolved. We require a new registered user to go above a certain threshold of manually approved comments before they will no longer have their comments marked as requiring our approval. This doesn’t mean that they are spam, but, simply that they require admin intervention. Unfortunately, myCred interprets them being put on hold as ‘spam’ and deducts 5 points. When their comment is approved, they get the default 1 point.
Is there some way for myCred to understand that this is one of the WP mechanisms for handling new commenters and not to treat their comment as spam unless explicitly marked as ‘spam’ by the administrator?
