Changing the home page look

The home page has the circles I want. However, it looks like the page has a top half and bottom half. The top half has all my old posts as text links and the bottom half has the correct look of the theme with the circles. Where do I look to change the top half of the page with all the random post links? Is it a coding issue? or a click of a button? Any help is appreciated. I am new at coding so any details are appreciated! Thank you.
