Whenever I click certain menu elements on my website http://www.piersonpapercraft.com, specifically “about us,” “gallery,” and the logo, instead of taking me to the destination, it loads the page for a few seconds and then takes me to a blank screen with a small smiley face “:)” in the upper left hand corner.

I have read several other forum posts concerning this matter. Most of them say to deactivate plugins, specifically jet pack and any caching plugin. This hasn’t helped. I also uninstalled all of them and came across the same problem. I am using the Stockholm theme from Themeforest, and have checked their forums and noted that no other users have come across such a problem. Do I need to wait several hours for the uninstalled plugins to take effect? How can I fix this problem?

    Thank you.

Just to rule out your theme being an issue, if you go to appearance -> themes and select 2014 or another theme, your site will change to the other theme temporarily does the problem persist?

Also worth checking appearance -> menu that the menus are pointing to the correct location?

    Always backup before changing themes

Thank you for such a swift reply!

I uploaded a different theme and then reuploaded mine and the problem was resolved. I also increased my php memory limit just in case.
