• Hello! Great plugin, I think it could work for me, except I can’t figure out how to include hyperlinks within the footnotes.
For example, in the visual editor I type:
    ((Que Choisir))
Then select Que Choisir and click the link button, and add the link. In the text editor it looks like this:
    ((<a href="http://test-comparatif.quechoisir.org/smartphone-142095/top/?cc=1413977735">Que Choisir</a>))
Seems like a hyperlink should appear then on the published page, but it doesn’t.

    Thanks!

  • You only need to use the WYSIWYG editor’s link function. Inside the (()) of course.

That’s what I was doing. The links actually do appear in the hovering footnote, but you can’t get your mouse over to them to click on them before the hovering note disappears. And if you click on the footnote it takes you to the bottom of the page, where the hyperlinks don’t appear. So it’s impossible to click on links in footnotes.

    Hi,

I am really sorry for the delay.

    That is a bug 🙁
If the Excerpt mode for the mouse-over box is enabled, html tags are removed in the reference container and also in the mouse-over box if the text length contains more than X characters.

We will fix this as soon as possible.
