if It does not work yet, could you make it for 4?
It should show when editing a post—please see the second screenshot.
No reason I know of that it wouldn’t work in 4.0.
ok now I see it, is there a way for the plugin to automatically insert that image into this field instead of having to paste it in? or even better, a way that this plugin could generate up each image inserted in the same post a code?
just like the myspace resource website does?
Not at this time. It’s purposefully flexible because many folks want to embed images hosted outside their WordPress installation.
alright thanks, this is better than using the embed code generator:)
if I moved this site to a new domain the links will still be related to the old site and I would have to redo the links to the images manually right?
That’s correct, but you ought to do a search and replace in the database (using a professional tool) when you migrate sites, so that should cover it as well.
what is the name of that tool?
You could use something like WP Migrate DB, but there are many.
Hi,
Will the embed code appear under the image or will it appear at the end of the post – like embed code generator?
Having it at the end of the post is not very helpful when the infographic appears half way through the aritcle.
Thanks,
David
Hey David,
It shows up at the end of the content. The embed code area has an ID of infographic_embed, so you can link directly to it from your infographic if you want.
Thanks Cliff. I was hoping for something that appears under the image to be shared.
