    Hi there,
it’s a very nice plugin so first of all a big thank you!

all right then, since i can’t edit the tables from the frontend (creating new rows and entry new data just from frontend, cause i don’t let my users to the backend admin area) i need to remove that edit button cauze it has no function except to relink to the home page.

how can i realise it? if it’s possible to edit the tables from frontend, how can i do this?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, editing tables from the frontend is indeed not possible, sorry. Tables can only be edited by logged-in users in the wp-admin area, on their respective “Edit” screens.
And that’s where that “Edit” link should take a every user who is logged-in and possesses the necessary access rights. Thus, regular site visitors (who are not logged-in) will never see this link.
Thus, there’s no real reason to hide it, but if you still want to do that (even for users who are logged-in and possess the necessary access rights), please see this TablePress Extension: http://tablepress.org/extensions/remove-edit-link/

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thank you very much =)
it was unneccesary since no user is allowed to see the admin area, so it has no function for me.

    Hi,

but then no user would see it anyways 🙂 But if it’s useful, just proceed with it, of course!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
