    @carol, you can do it only with jQuery, I guess

    Thank you for your answer @tizz! I was able to solve the problem including the following code to my theme footer.php before the </body> tag:

    <script type=”text/javascript”>
    jQuery(‘document’).ready(function($){
    $(‘[title]’).removeAttr(‘title’);
    });
    </script>
