SmartShop Theme Personalizations
-
Hello all,
I am currently using SmartShop Theme and would love to ask a couple of questions about how to personalize it a little:
1. I would like to replace the existing colored (my theme color) rectangle under my menu on which the name of the page I am currently on is put with a custom image?
2. If I am able to do the above, what are the recommended width for my image to match the boxed version of the theme?
3. Are there any ways to more beautifully represent the submenus (dropdown menus) on the main menu? (like changing color as I move my mouse over the dropdown options)Thank you in advance for your help!
PS: I am using WordPress as a NON-advanced user, so, any help will be appreciated 🙂

Hi,
Do you have an online version of your website? It would be easier to help out with your questions if we could see this.
Thanks.
@wpenvy , this is the url: ohyeahdesigns.org
Thanks in advance 🙂
Thanks for sending across the link.
I have had a look into your issues and please see my comments below:
1 & 2 – I am not to sure where the “my theme colour rectangle under my menu” is, can you please advise?
3 – You will need to go into the stylesheet to change the styling on the dropdown navigation. You can change the styling by going to the following CSS file:
themes/virtus/assets/css/virtue.css
Then you are looking for the following styles, for the dropdown:
.topbarmenu ul li aIf you have a specific colour / style you want, please let me know and I can help further.
Let me know…
Thank you for your time and effort in helping me out on this. I have changed the theme completely, as the former one did really bore me. 🙂 Feel free to check out the new theme. There are no things on the website yet, but, I will be getting it to work in a week or two. Please excuse me for any confusion or inconvenience. I really appreciate your work of help.
By the way I really need help with my other post found here:
