    I am taking over the work of the website http://www.sigdalslag.org/. The user list was not accurate. I exported the current users. Changed the fields in the user list and within the settings, the WP members fields. ( I take it that these are the same lists) I then tried to import the csv file into the user area where it says import csv. I get the message “no user was successfully imported, please check the error log” when I check the error log, i get “this page can not be displayed” I am using firefox, have also tried IE.

    When I download the example csv file and try ti import that one, only pieces of that file are imported.

    So now I will try to enter each of the hundreds of members one at a time, but when I do that by going to “add new” the same fields are not available, so I will be missing a lot of information that I want listed with each member.

    so the question is,Is there really a way to import all users in a csv file? If not, is there a way to change the fields in the “add new” area to match the fields in the “WP members” and “all users” so I can enter the users one at a time with all the data I want?

    You should first installed all the user related plugins from the old site and then you should import all the users.

    Also compare the roles available on the both sides. Before import you should at least get the code and setting synchronized..

    Any idea as to what plugin I could use to change the fields when entering individuals as users? Those fields are different from the the WP members fields.
