• Hi there,

I recently tried using cache plugins like W3 Total Cache and WP Super Cache. But after a while we noticed some failures so we decided to delete them untill we figured out how to optimize the site without the use of them.

Butttt….. now we get this very annoying message on almost every page?!?!

    Please enable cookies.
    Error 1001 Ray ID: 17d423bcf58a08f0

    DNS resolution error

    What happened?

You've requested a page on a website (uijquery.org) that is on the CloudFlare network. CloudFlare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain (uijquery.org). There are two potential causes of this:

Most likely: if the owner just signed up for CloudFlare it can take a few minutes for the website's information to be distributed to our global network.
Less likely: something is wrong with this site's configuration. Usually this happens when accounts have been signed up with a partner organization (e.g., a hosting provider) and the provider's DNS fails.
CloudFlare Ray ID: 17d423bcf58a08f0 • Your IP: 91.217.57.54 • Performance & security by CloudFlare

I don’t remember signing up on cloudflare or anything? I can hide the message using css but why is it saying this? Are there still some bits and pieces left in my WP directory? Or did those plugins simply added new lines on my pages?

Help would be highly appreciated :D!

    Thanks in advance,

    Giovanni

I am actually showing that the site is actually on us & pointing to our nameservers. Are you still seeing this error? If yes, please contact CloudFlare support.

    Hey Damoncloudflare,

Well… I deleted some traces of the cache plugins in my WP directory and the error seems to be gone for now… (I’ve hidden it with css) but not sure if it’s completely gone now??

    Hi,

This really isn’t an issue with a plugin (plugins don’t activate our service). The domain is signed up for our service & pointing to our nameservers.
