Not working on WP 4.0

Hi I can use page widgets and it works fine on WP 4.0,
but the widget area is “to small”, it’s hard going

if a choose a new theme, I have to go to Dashboard => Page Widget and choose the widget areas I would like to customize, if I don’t do that, I’ll see the same as I see on your screenshot.

I Deactivate my plugins one by one and still the problem is there
